I created a cover redesign for “From Blood and Ash” a fantasy romance series where the main character struggles between strong opposing sides that are pulling her each way. I crafted this by hand using fabric, clay, acrylic paint, chip board, and printed paper for the covers.

To show the main characters’ conflict I created sleeves “made” of blood, flesh, and bone that pair with the matching element from the book for the cover. The literalness of the objects matches the novel’s raw vulnerability while showing the contrasting sides.
